Play any song near this device and press Sync. Eight spheres and Clouud in the middle react to it. Clouud learns the tempo as it goes.
Analyze
Sync to a song first, then press Analyze while it plays. You get a report of how the spheres and the eye behaved, and a tuning for this song.

Beat and notes
Listen: the microphone hears the room. Tap a sphere to play its note.
Eight spheres, eight notes
Tracks (recorded, separated)
Name the files drums, bass, vocals and other (the four stems that Demucs, Moises, LALAL.AI or a DAW bounce give). Each sphere then reads its own stem, with no crosstalk. One full track also works. MIDI in: a DAW sends the hits (drums on channel 10).
Tone of sphere 1
Chain of sphere 1
Band, level, follower, onset, mix, held back by the loudest other sphere, gate. Tap a sphere to open its chain.
Voice (the mouth)
The voice is a sphere at the centre. When the voice sings it stretches toward you into a flat tongue joined to the sphere, and it returns to the sphere in breaks. Its size is set under Sphere sizes.
Sphere sizes
Voice and bass are the largest. Bass is the wide, soft background; the voice is the foreground. With impact on, each sphere also grows when its instrument is playing a lot.
Special effects
Journey on breaks and highs
At a high point or a break in the music the view opens up: the camera moves in through the map with more detail, then returns to the sphere view.
